Important Notice Regarding HOT Class Cancellations

Our HOT classes require significant preparation, including switching on our full heating system 5 hours in advance to ensure the ideal practice environment.

To help us manage this effectively:

If possible, please book at least 5 hours before the class starts so we can plan accordingly.

Please only book if you’re confident you can attend.

Due to the energy and costs involved, cancellations for HOT classes are not possible under normal circumstances. However, Meeta may use her discretion when considering cancellation requests. Please note that even if a cancellation is accepted, it is unlikely that a full refund will be given.

In rare cases, we may need to adjust the class schedule or make changes to bookings. If this happens, we’ll notify you as early as possible.

How Meeta's hot yoga class works, and how it deepens your practice

In preparation for this class, all studio heaters are turned up for several hours, raising the room temperature to 40°C with heavy humidity. 

This intense warmth ensures that your muscles are already supple before you begin, allowing you to move into postures more quickly and deeply without the usual risk of strain. There's no warm-up quite like one performed in 35+ degree heat!

Under Meeta’s guidance, you’ll flow through a sequence designed to open up the chest, shoulders, hips, and back while strengthening your upper body and core. Expect to sweat—staying hydrated is essential, so bring plenty of water.

Why Hot Yoga is So Effective

Hot yoga offers a range of benefits beyond flexibility. The heat helps your muscles relax, enabling deeper postures with less resistance. It also raises your body temperature in a way that mimics your immune system’s natural response to fighting infections, potentially boosting its function.
